Trust & Security

Built for the moments that matter most.

You're trusting us with your most sensitive information, often on the worst day you've had. We don't take that lightly. Here's how we protect it.

How we protect your information

Encrypted, end to end of our systems

Your data and evidence are encrypted in transit and at rest, so it's protected both as it travels and where it's stored.

Stored in Australia

Your information is hosted on servers located in Australia, close to home and the authorities you may need.

Strict access controls

Access is protected by multi-factor authentication and least-privilege controls — only authorised people can reach your information, and only when they need to.

Independently tested

Our systems are independently penetration-tested, so weaknesses are found and fixed before they can be used against you.

Aligned to the Essential Eight

We align our security practices to the Australian Signals Directorate's Essential Eight, and we keep maturing our posture as we grow.

Private by default

We never sell your information. Your most sensitive evidence is used only to help you respond to your incident.

Evidence preserved the right way

When we capture evidence, we do it the way police and eSafety need it: timestamped, unaltered, and organised into a clear case. That means when you walk in to report something, the people who can act are able to act — without your proof being questioned or lost.

We do the right thing, the right way

We preserve evidence and guide you to the right authorities. We don't hunt offenders, surveil people, or take the law into our own hands — that's the job of law enforcement, and doing it any other way can put you at greater risk. Our role is to make you safer and help the right people do theirs.

Your privacy comes first

Protecting the people who trust us is the whole point of what we do. For full detail on what we collect and how we handle it, read our Privacy Policy.

Found a security issue?

We welcome reports from the security community. If you believe you've found a vulnerability in our systems, please email hello@knomi.com.au with the details. We'll acknowledge your report, investigate, and keep you updated. Please give us a reasonable chance to fix the issue before disclosing it publicly, and don't access or alter data that isn't yours.

Protection you can trust, ready when it matters.
